A bit about me:
I'm a mixed-methods ux researcher based in Seattle.
With roots in anthropology and sociology, my academic studies centered on ethnographic fieldwork, observational analysis, and statistical analysis, culminating in a thesis that investigated the spatial and interpersonal environments of postpartum women in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Alongside this, I have formal training in design and began my UX practice in an intensive bootcamp.
Having worked as a research analyst, I love to bring integrated data analytics and digital methods into my practice, including web scraping, digital ethnography, and other computational techniques when beneficial. I also work extensively with data visualization and experimental prototyping as tools for exploration. I see myself as a generalist in social technology, often pursuing projects that collide with data, research, design, and culture. I am hands-on by default and enjoy moving between various qualitative and quantitative methods.
Previously in a role situated between planning, research, and data science teams, I’ve thrived in carrying both grounded, human insight and dense quantitative findings into spaces where they can be understood and used to inform decision-making.
I love my work because I see UX and product research as the vital layer between humans and emerging systems. As technology shapes access, behavior, and power, research plays a role in preventing harm, improving usability, and expanding inclusion. This work at large is too massive a job to ever be "finished"; it is inherently ever-changing, evolving alongside the technologies it interrogates. The unpredictable challenges offer endless opportunities for meaningful change across diverse human experiences. Being a UX researcher feels energizing for me because there is always a new and dynamic puzzle to solve, where today’s solution may not be tomorrow’s.
I currently take on design research consulting projects and am open to full-time opportunities. Outside of work, I spend time hiking, making electronic music, and building experimental digital products.
I am always open to connecting over a virtual ‘matcha chat’ :). If you’d like to get in touch, send me an email or connect with me here.
